The Need

  • Test and refine the site as needed to make sure everything works from a consumer standpoint and from NWOSS’s e-commerce standpoint

Northwestern Ohio Security Systems, Inc., or NWOSS, had an ambitious plan to enter the consumer DIY security market and were looking to build a website that would allow them to sell security cameras and other security equipment online. They also wanted people to be able to pick out whether or not they received ongoing security plans as they were checking out.

A majority of the project included site mapping and flow to ensure people would have an easy time picking out their desired product and package. After flow was thoroughly discussed, our designer came up with a web design that would help funnel users to the right areas and avoid friction or confusion.

Our developer worked hand-in-hand with our designer to make sure everything functioned according to the flow and the design. At the same time, we incorporated SEO best practices to ensure that NWOSS was found online by their target audience.
